Get to Know Fran
What inspired you to become a Mortgage Broker?
I could see how complicated the process can be to get a mortgage directly with the bank, lots of 'jargon', abundance of form filling and not to mention second guessing if you're getting the best possible rates and cash incentives from the bank! It doesn't need to be a scary process; I can help simplify the process, take the guesswork out of getting a mortgage and help you every step of the way.
What is the best part of being a Mortgage Broker?
Seeing dreams of home ownership become reality, nothing tops this!
What have you found to be the most challenging aspect?
The most challenging aspect of being a Mortgage Broker is keeping up with the mad rush to settle the last week before Christmas but extremely exciting at the same time!
What is your most memorable client experience?
Helping clients who lost their home due to unforeseen circumstances purchase a new residence and generate income for extended family members - a double celebration.
How would you sum up being a Mortgage Broker in three words?
Gratifying – Humbling – Enjoyable.
If you were Prime Minister for one day, what would you do?
Donate more money toward child poverty.
If you could have dinner with any three people (alive or dead), who would it be?
My mother, my sister, and Patrick Swayze.
If you weren't in Mortgage Broking, what would you do?
Work as a Teacher.
