You do not need to know which lender, loan structure, or application path is right before you enquire. The point of speaking with an adviser is to turn your goal, timeline, deposit, income, and existing commitments into a practical lending plan.
Does it cost anything to speak with a Mortgage Lab adviser?
The first conversation is free. In most mortgage situations, Mortgage Lab is paid by the lender if your loan settles. If a fee could apply, your adviser will explain that before you proceed.
Can I work with an adviser if I am not based near an office?
Yes. Mortgage Lab works with clients across New Zealand by phone and video, as well as in person where an adviser is nearby.
What documents will I usually need?
Your adviser will confirm the exact list, but lenders commonly ask for identification, income evidence, bank statements, details of debts, and information about your deposit or property.
How quickly will someone contact me?
A Mortgage Lab adviser will usually follow up within one business day after you submit the enquiry form.
